HASSAN Mohammad Ashraful

Mr. Ashraful Hassan is Chairman of the Grameen Group Trust, a group of social enterprises founded by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus. With over four decades of association with Grameen, his career has evolved from engineer to senior leader within the Group's various companies.

Md. Hassan is a board member and director of over 30 organizations, with expertise spanning telecommunications, healthcare, education, renewable energy, financial inclusion, and rural development. In his leadership, he prioritizes strategic clarity, robust governance, innovation, and sustainability, ensuring all initiatives remain aligned with Grameen's social enterprise principles and the shared mission of Zero Poverty, Zero Unemployment, and Zero Net Carbon Emissions.
