<p>The Foundation published an article entitled «Signatory Organizations Report on the Implementation of the COVID-19 Pledge and Lessons Learned.» By signing the pledge on key principles to protect microfinance institutions (MFIs) and their clients during the COVID-19 pandemic (the Pledge), 30 signatories committed to respecting 10 key principles. Six months after signing the Pledge, a working group of 7 signatories is reviewing the lessons learned from implementing its principles. How have they been applied? What were the main challenges faced? What lessons can already be learned to better address the pandemic and live up to our commitment in the months ahead?</p>

By signing the Commitment on Key Principles to Protect Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) and Their Clients from the COVID-19 Pandemic (the Commitment), 30 signatories committed to respecting 10 key principles. Six months after signing the Commitment, a working group made up of seven of its signatories is drawing lessons from the implementation of its principles. How were they applied? What were the main challenges faced? What lessons can already be learned to better face the pandemic and live up to our commitment in the months to come?
