What has been the impact of the reduction in international aid on financial service providers?

This field study is an initiative of the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation in partnership with CERISE+SPTF and the Financial Inclusion Equity Council (FIEC), two networks whose members include numerous practitioners in the field (financial service providers(1), investors, and networks of financial institutions). It aims to assess the impact on the financial inclusion sector of reduced international aid, following the decrease in contributions from the United States and other countries to development programs worldwide.
