The Foundation invests in capital, finances, supports and strengthens microfinance institutions, companies and projects that promote inclusive finance and the development of rural economies, all over the world.
At the heart of the Foundation’s action is female entrepreneurship and the development of rural economies: of the over 11,2 million clients of the microfinance institutions supported, 78% are women and 81% live in rural areas.
