In Rwanda, inclusive insurance has become a concrete tool enabling farmers, cooperatives, and financial institutions to protect themselves against climate and economic risks. In 2025, an exchange mission to Kigali and rural regions brought together 17 participants from 12 organizations across 9 different countries. They were able to discover a well-organized system where public authorities, insurers, and microfinance institutions work together to offer insurance solutions tailored to the most vulnerable populations. Radiant Yacu, the country's leading microinsurance company, and local agricultural organizations demonstrate how customized insurance products can stabilize incomes and encourage investment.
