Grameen Family Gathering

Grameen Family, Paris, February 11, 2026
The very first Grameen Family Meeting was held in Paris on February 11 and 12, marking a historic moment in the collective journey towards a 3-zero world: Zero poverty, Zero unemployment and Zero net carbon emissions.
The event brought together over 60 participants from 25 organizations across 18 countries to strengthen their connections and amplify their collective impact. Participants shared diverse experiences from around the world, focusing on financial inclusion, women's empowerment, digital transformation, climate action strategies, and more.
This gathering represents the first step towards a more interconnected Grameen ecosystem that honors its shared legacy of Professor Muhammad Yunus while embracing the innovation needed to address the challenges of the 21st century. The workshops and discussions emphasized that cooperation is essential for tackling complex global issues, with participants recognizing that their diversity is also their strength.
The event reinforced Grameen's fundamental belief: when people are trusted, they rise to the occasion. This principle also extends to institutions, with the meeting serving as a call to transform shared values into common actions.
